Anyone wanna see a movie with me tomorrow night? I optimistically reserved two passes to the 7:30 film screening of The Human Stain. Rotten Tomatoes says it is mediocre, but it sounds ambitious enough to merit a free watch: it is an adaptation of an ambitious Philip Roth novel with some interesting characters. On paper, it has the acting talent (Hopkins, Kidman, Ed Harris) to match... but cerebral novels rarely succeed in translation.
Anyway, first person who can go gets it, unless there are multiple people who are interested. Ha..Then we'll figure something out.
