SpamAssassin...

Here is an example of how SpamAssassin can be complete right, and yet, completely wrong. Another case of the noise masking the signal in spam, and another argument for easy tagged addressing...

Here's the spamassassin analysis:

Content analysis details: (22.4 points, 7.0 required)

pts rule name description
---- ----------------------
+--------------------------------------------------
6.0 MORTGAGE_BEST BODY: Information on mortgages
1.9 LOW_INTEREST BODY: Lower Interest Rates
0.5 WHY_WAIT BODY: What are you waiting for
6.0 MORTGAGE_PITCH BODY: Looks like mortgage pitch
6.0 MORTGAGE_RATES BODY: Information on mortgage rates
2.0 CLICK_BELOW Asks you to click below

The message? John Mauldin's Thoughts from the Frontline, an amazingly insightly weekly analysis of the economic data and trends (jtunison, might be your kind of thing). So yes, of course he's talking about interest and mortgage rates... but not because he's secured me a SUPER LOW RATE or anything.
