  • Hyper-heterosexual women as an explaination for (male) gay genes? ("F--- me, my brother is gay"?)

  • I can see my house from here! New global satellite imagery of NO2 levels shows where stuff is made. And how screwed up China's environment is becoming.

  • Single piece face graft. The images are a bit disturbing, but wow. I'm not gaining weight, I'm expanding a balloon for the skin to restructure my face.

  • Net Stocks. Paypal was down intermittently this weekend. "The payment service has more than 50 million user accounts worldwide. It processed almost 78 million transactions worth $4.4 billion in payments during the second quarter, a 53 percent increase from the same period a year earlier". Yahoo reported earnings today, reporting a third-quarter profit of $253.3 million, or 17 cents per share, up from net income of $65.3 million, or 5 cents per share, at the same time last year. Except that 8 cents of that is tax benefits (thanks Bush) and their $191M sale of GOOG. Revenue for the period totaled $906.7 million, a dramatic increase from $356.8 million last year. Yahoo's revenue fell to $655 million after subtracting commissions paid to some of its advertising partners.
