Geoff has discovered that SAT solvers for Sudokus are passé, as per my previous article. I don't think either of these address the notion that Knuth's Dancing Links is being resurrected by most sudoku programmers because it is really fast. It is far more interesting to wank about field-specific representations. I expect to see a DNA computer attempt at Sudoku in the near (few years) future.
