Showed up at work today at 8am.
When I showed up at 10:30 on Monday, I was the first person here by almost an hour (and the last out). And now I am here even earlier.
Why?

really only sickos are up this early You remember how early I showed up sometimes last summer. I don't know, in some ways it was really peaceful working before everyone strolled in at 11am or noon. I guess I forgot to mention that I came in this early after having read 60 pages and run out of things to do at home? Heh. You've become a morning person. The horror...
Started looking for a new place to live yet? I'm not. And that's the crazy bit. I did not go to bed at a reasonable time last night.
Yes. Not as much fun as I had hoped. Too many compromises. Maybe you've become one of those people that never sleeps.
Yeah, I'm not too happy about the choices I have seen so far. Well, as long as it doesn't have a pest problem and the neighborhood isn't too rough, I will be okay expect. Indeed. More vanity, or something. I decided I want pet friendly, with ideals of large, dishwashing, laundry, near a park. The compromises are in cost and distance... But so far I've found cheap & large (but no facilities), new and equipped but small... etc. John picked me up the other day and said "Don't tell me you've started dressing like you have a job or something". Cause I was in dark pants and a (relatively) clean white dress shirt. I had to assure him that no, I wasn't... seth wasn't even in town. I can't imagine how completely out of place I could look if I wore a suit to work.
Damn. If I had one, I'd wear it just to see. Seeing John wear a suit and tie was pretty impressive. Not something I will probably see again unless one us gets married or something. |
