04:51 pm - so I work. My sister visits,
Hmmm. Let's see how much I can reconstruct of the week with my sister.

Monday

Work. I think. Probably frisbee practice.

Tuesday

Left work at 1:00pm to meet my sister at the airport. Spent the afternoon hanging out. I believe we (zkhan, vermonster, daemonv) ended up at church.

Wednesday

vermonster had ambitions of getting up with me at 8am and working out at the UC. I think she left the house by 2pm. This was just as well - I had the weekly group meeting. Upon entering the meeting and informing seth that I was making forward progress... I got reassigned to another task. Perl hacking. Dinner (same as before, +bucy +rbraun) was at F&F, which has become even more of a regular destination for me. I know and am known by maybe 1/3 of the (large) waitstaff... We ended the evening with

Not terrible.

<b>Thursday</b>

Dinner (<lj user="vermonster">, <lj user="daemonv">, zkhan, fws) at <a href="http://www.pitt.edu/~animals/guide/entries/udipi.htm">udipi</a>, finally. Very good. Ended up at <lj user="leko">/fws' apartment after the acquision of clf (zkhan's other), <a href="http://sharpedgebeer.com/">beverages</a>, and an immortal <a href="http://www.weirdal.com/latenews.htm#uhfdvd">dvd</a>. My sister and I were the only ones who had seen it in the group! How does this happen? Where is his next film? To the delight of my sister, I personally enjoyed a beer.

<b>Friday</b>

<lj user="vermonster"> headed out to a <a href="http://www.warhol.org/">museum</a>. I got a new script at 9am... and at 4pm, I was given another assignment that was needed within an hour. Kind of tight, with dinner plans for 6pm and a strong need to do laundry. Pounded out the script and then finalized a lesser version of the other... and made it to dinner (<lj user="badfaerie">, ctl, bucy, <lj user="daemonv">, <lj user="vermonster">) at <a href="http://www.shadysideshops.com/ShopDescription.asp?sel=97">La Feria</a>. After dinner, I did laundry, and <lj user="meschmidt"> came by, all dressed up, and hung out for a while.

<b>And so on...</b>
And on Saturday, we splurged for a 4:00am cab to the airport so I could catch my 9am flight... and my sister's 6am. She flew to MSP via ATL (thanks <a href="http://www.airtran.com/">AirTran</a>), so I arrived before she did. Then we went to the <b>Mall</b>.

I'll acknowledge that I will drink, without too much effort, Lindeman's Kriek (Lambic). I still dislike the taste of most everything else, and at ~9$US a bottle, I won't drink much of this either.

Lindeman's is good stuff. The Framboise Lambic is my favorite.

Not sure if you were talking about ~9$US/pint (what I found tonight at my local liquor store) or the ~9$US/half pints (what they usually sell in bars).

fjord is happy.
