Played the first game of Fall League last night. My team, Chocapocalypse [Rich Chocolatey End Times] scored the first 3 points of the League. We were also the first to lose a game to Not It (but not the only one that night). We've got an interesting team -- only one rookie, so far. Interesting, also, is that we've got a couple of great receivers, but no real handlers (our Captain, for example, Handled for the first time in Summer League). So I'll probably be playing handler along with everyone else. Which is cool, but not entirely expected.
Yesterday I finally asked Seth for permission to take a class. He gave it. So I actually had to do the problem set. Not terribly hard, very interesting mix of questions, so I started it... around 12:30am. Asleep around 2am, but I've got corvisdog technology, so I was up and in the park by 7:30am (cold! invigorating!), and it was completed and handed in at the begining of class (10:30am). I imagine I would have been a much better student had I had a dog -- he makes me stay at home, he gets me up in the morning, and just about his favorite activity is to curl up next to me on the couch while I do something (like read, homework, etc).
