Thank you for your email and thank you for writing to Grandma and
Grandpa. I notice that the email was sent at 3:17 am which leads me to
two conclusions. 1. Your grandfather has already answered your email.
2. You are not getting a lot of sleep.

Probably not of interest, but my grandmother and grandfather had responded (05:33:40 EST, 07:35:18 EST). It becomes interesting because both responses came from the same email address, and had the same general signature, neither with author attribution. I had to apply basic analysis to determine who responded when based on the tone of the response. Ah, family, and ah, the interesting adoptation of technology.

Or maybe its just they are an old-style family unit which is used to jointly issuing messages without attribution. My grandmother is the only person I know to commonly go under Mrs grandfather's name.
