|12:12 am - Would you believe he had an eye infection?|
Summary: Mom visited for the weekend. corvisdog has an eye infection. Frisbee team, ranked #4, beat team ranked #6, lost to #1. So we play Wednesday, but only vying for #3 place. "trusted mech", the trurl and daemonv vehicle, has launched (printed in Tartan). Life is like a box of chocolates.
Mother visited for the weekend. Highlights:
She cleaned up the joint.
She met corvisdog and cooked for him, including baking dog biscuits (which were not nearly as popular as the little scraps of Lamb she gave him).
As a result, I ate well:
Dinner on Friday night: China Palace
Breakfast on Saturday: Krispy Kremes
Lunch on Saturday: Aladin's (with long detour in Penzeys)
Dinner on Saturday night: took friends to My Thai
Brunch on Sunday: Crepes Parisiennes (Zenith Tea Room closed for week!)
Dinner on Sunday: Roast Leg of Lamb
I'll note that, despite having good health coverage, it has been years since I last saw a doctor or dentist (which, of course, my mother says I should fix). When I have a debilitating illness causing me to cancel cross-state trips, do I seek the services of a doctor? Of course not. When dealing with corvisdog, however, well -- a day after symptoms developed he gets a hospital visit, and he's had a recent physical. Ah, consistency. Or parenting. Or something.
nice that anyone told me she was going out to visit you... i sent the parents an email the other day asking them to send out more contacts and dad wrote back "mom'll do it when she gets back tuesday," not even telling me where she was.
DO I BELONG TO THIS FAMILY???
