A plan I've been talking about for a while.

Today's Agonist

1:33 EST Rumsfeld says, 'Syria will be held responsible for its actions.'

1:56 EST Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld has said that Iranian Badr corps members are moving into Iraq but have not threatened Coalition forces. The Iraqis in Iran are funded, housed and backed by Iranian Revolutionary Guards. Trying to reconfirm.

The question is: How many countries does it take before it is a World War? If we ignore the Coalition of the Willing, we have three primary countries. But there is not only noise from the adjacent neighbors (Syria, Iran, Turkey), but the big other powers (but we won't fight Europe). India and Pakistan are being particularly friendly. Oh, and North Korea (I never really wanted to see Seoul, at least not like I wanted to see Baghad). Cuba's making noise, but they aren't a player.

I'm still pretty confident that there will be no draft under this Administration. And I'm not quite sure what I would do in such a scenerio, considering my situation and options. I take comfort in being 3 hours from the Canadian border, with my parents living closer to Montreal than NYC. Although I think I might see if my car could make it to Costa Rica. They have no army, and have the start of a tech sector.
